You ever hear the term "African American"? Why do we call people that are black (colored, whatever) that? Their not from Africa! If you are born and raised in America then you are American! No other country in front of that! American!

Also, Japanese or Chinese American.... Again with the American thing.

Maybe it's because I'm white so I don't understand. But what I really don't understand is why are white people just called "white"? Why not Caucasian? Or European American?
