Books
I love books.
I bought a Meg Cabot book in goodwill. I was shocked. I mean who in their right mind would just give away a Meg Cabot book? I snatched it right up though. All is well. It was Queen of Babble, by the way.
I also got some more books. Another one from goodwill called Sandpiper by Ellen Wittlinger. (It is a good book.)
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This was actually on my list of books to read. I saw it when I was passing the books in Barnes and Noble. So I grabbed it. I'm surprised how big it is though. I don't care. It looks amazing.
I found Takes from Arabian Nights (Translated by Richard F. Burton) in Goodwill so I grabbed that as well. My mom was all, "Why are you getting this?" Me: "Because even if I don't read it, I can say I have it."
What my Girlfriend Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones. I love her work. One of my teachers picked out one of her books for me to read for a poem project we were doing and said, "I think you would like her." And I now love her. I love English teachers.
The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot. My sister actually got me this one.
And Impossible by Nancy Werlin. I have no idea what this book is about. I opened it, didn't read anything. Closed it, looked at the cover. Shrugged and put it in my pile.
Seriously what I did. I have no idea what the book is about. Okay. I found the summary. It is about Magic, elves, pregnancy, and teenage mothers.
Okay. Sounds fun.
